About Us:

The Pike county organization was established as Home Bureau on
October 14, 1938, with 353 members.  In 1968, Home Bureau was renamed Homemakers Extension Association.  In 1992, the organization was restructured and renamed the Pike County Association for Home and Community Education.  Our current Extension Director is Kristin Huls.

Units in Pike County:

  There are 12 traditional units and 6 specialty units which include 2 quilting units,
2 crochet units, 1 book club unit as well as a sewing unit for junior members.
